Sing a song. A song is a gift to a child’s mind. Music makes connections, builds language and forges bonds between parent and child. At just a few months of age, a baby will smile at a melody and move to a rhythm. Any kind of music will do, “Mary Had A Little Lamb” or Mozart. Better yet, put your child’s name in a song. Then clap, bounce and dance. Sing. |
